Galvanized by the popularity of the Honey Badger monolight, Interfit raises the bar on performance with the introduction of the 250Ws Badger Unleashed Flash Head The "Unleashed" designation refers to wireless freedom - the Badger Unleashed has a rechargeable, removable lithium-ion battery that will give you 430 full-power flashes with a 1.5 sec recycling time on a 90-minute charge. Interfit has also extended the power range to 9 stops adjustable in 1/10-stop increments. The LED modeling light can be used traditionally to preview your lighting setup, but with its highly accurate, 90 CRI rating, it can be used to shoot video too. Unleashed also refers to triggering and control. The flash head has a built-in 15-channel receiver that supports TTL using a separately purchased transmitter for Nikon, Canon, or Sony, as well as High Speed Sync with shutter speeds as short as 1/8000 sec to control the background light level.

Like its predecessor, the Badger Unleashed has a compact 5 x 5 x 7" form factor an at 4 lb is lightweight as well. Convenience features include a Bowens S-Type front accessory mount, making it compatible with the many manufacturers that produce products with this popular mount. The Badger Unleashed also has a built-in pop-up softbox ring that makes for very fast setup and a frosted glass-domed flash tube that exhibits the very even light dispersion that's so valuable when using softboxes.
